We just love it.

"Ok, this is the scoop. It took us a total of 20 hours. The first 2 1/2 hours we read the book, labeled all pieces of wood with post it notes.( would highly incourage this to save a lot of time when actually looking for each piece to assemble). We took zip lock baggies and seperated all of the loose nuts, bolts, washers, lock washers, etc.... and labeled those with a magic marker. That was very helpful as well when looking for the correct hardware to assemble in the least amount of time. We took several days and did about 3-5 hours each day. Our 2 year old did not know what we were actually doing. He even helped a little bit. This set was purchased as a Christmas gift. And the look on his face and the reaction that he had when he turned around in the living room and peired out the sliding glass door was worth it all. He just kept jumping up and down flapping his arms like a bird yelling "Santa swing set, Santa swing set ". He refused to open any other gifts and played on it for 1 1/2 hours christmas morning. We made sure that it was level when we assembled it and we have no issues with the set being unsturdy. Myself and my older son who weighs over 190 all play on it together. It is very durable and sturdy. We are going to put Thompson water seal on the white wood parts so it doesn't discolor from dirt and rain. My husband and I love what we have done for our son. The set is awesome. We were not missing a single piece of wood and had extra hardware. We did however add extra screws to the tarps on the fort and the lemonade stand area. We only did this becasue of the hurrican weather that we get in Florida. We just can't say enough good things about this Aspen lodge set. The only thing I would change if I was the manufacturer is: 1. I would stain the anchor pieces of wood to match the red wood. And 2.I would have predrilled the holes in the monkey bar rails, and the ladder rails. The wood is extremely hard and we broke 3 wood drill bits and had to resort to a concrete drill bit. But those were just little minor things that we found a quick fix for. Hope this helps you to make your pruchasing decision. The look on your childrens faces is all it takes to make it all worth your time and effort."
